The Ohio State football program had some really good seasons under former head coach Urban Meyer. They obviously won a national championship in 2014, but also had an undefeated season in 2012 and were undefeated in the regular season in 2013.

Meyer coached and recruited a lot of really good players over his seven seasons coaching the Ohio State football program. A lot of those players ended up moving on to the NFL and are currently playing great. A lot of these players have signed huge contracts too.

So with that in mind, we give you an All-Urban Meyer Team. All of these players were coached by Meyer at some point during his tenure. You won’t see players who were just recruited by him, so no one in the 2019 recruiting class will be shown on this list.

We will give you just starters for each position, no backups. We start with the skill-position guys.

QB: J.T. Barrett

There were several tough calls for me with this. Quarterback was tough between Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett. I love Miller and he’s one of my favorite Buckeyes of all time, but Barrett holds every Ohio State record at quarterback. Because of that, he gets the nod.

Barrett is also the more accurate quarterback of the two. Miller never had a game passing the ball like Barrett did against Penn State in 2017 when he went 33/39 for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns. Miller had a stronger arm but was never quite able to pass in the pocket like Barrett could.

The next position we will talk about for this list is running back. I’m sure you have a couple in mind. Who makes the cut?
