The Ohio State football team is taking on Georgia today. It is going to be one of the most bet on games of the entire college football season. It’s unfortunate that sports betting doesn’t become legal for Ohio residents until tomorrow when the College Football Playoff semifinals are over.

The Buckeyes have been underdogs since this game was announced. That hasn’t changed since the spread first came out. Ohio State still sits as an underdog. The question is whether or not they can cover and even possibly win the game outright.

Ohio State football vs. Georgia: Best bets

According to WynnBET, the Buckeyes are 6-point underdogs. The line has gone down half a point. I think the Buckeyes cover that six points, so take a look at that. The over/under for the game sits at  62.5, which I think is quite low for two teams who have really good offenses. Taking the over might be the way to go.

If you think Ohio State is going to win the game, I actually like betting the first quarter moneyline then. Ohio State leading after the quarter sits at +135 odds, so you get a little bit of juice out of that. If the Buckeyes are going to win the game, I think they lead early.

I also like Julian Fleming as an anytime touchdown scorer. Those odds sit at +240. I think that’s something that can definitely happen, although he had a rough finish to the regular season. With Georgia likely focusing on Marvin Harrison Jr., Fleming could be the beneficiary.
