As you know by now, the Ohio State football team lost the number one overall recruit for the 2024 class. Quarterback Dylan Raiola de-committed from the Buckeyes last week right after they landed the number two overall prospect in that class, receiver Jeremiah Smith.

It seems like Raiola is headed to Nebraska where his dad is now on staff. That, plus whatever NIL money Nebraska is throwing at him, seems to make there the likely destination for him. No matter. Ryan Day and his staff can move on and start offering other quarterbacks.

There are still plenty of quarterbacks who Ohio State can go out and get for the 2024 class. There is plenty of time for the Buckeyes to flip one of the top guys as well if that’s something they desire to do. Hopefully, their NIL issues will be addressed by that point but who knows?

There are three quarterbacks in particular that I have my eye on that the Buckeyes could go out and try to get. The first one is someone that the Buckeyes would love to grab away from TTUN.

1. Jadyn Davis

Jadyn Davis is a five-star quarterback out of Charlotte, North Carolina that would be a great addition to the Buckeyes. He’s a little shorter than most other quarterbacks, standing at just over six feet tall, but he’s not done growing yet. He’s also the third-best quarterback in the country.

Davis is extremely accurate and has a super strong arm. He’s also athletic enough to get some yards when he needs to and isn’t afraid to do so. Based on the tape I’ve seen, he also is able to run effectively without putting himself in harm’s way too much.

Davis is projected to go to Michigan right now, but he has yet to commit and has an offer from Ohio State already. I’m sure Ryan Day would love to pull Davis right out from underneath their nose. It might be a bit of a long shot, but Day can certainly develop quarterbacks.

The next quarterback on this list is someone that doesn’t have an offer from Ohio State yet but might deserve a good look.
