The Game is inching closer with every second. The Ohio State football team is hoping to get revenge on TTUN for beating them last year in TTUN. This is actually the first time the two teams have played in the Shoe since 2018 because Michigan canceled The Game in 2020.

Ohio State is hoping for some better weather than they got last week against Maryland. In that game, it rained in the first half and that slowed them down a bit. They are hoping for some better weather so the offense can run more smoothly than it did.

Michigan is hoping for bad weather. As a team that runs the ball and likes to control the clock, they want rain and wind and all kinds of stuff happening in the Shoe. So who will be happier? The Buckeyes or the Wolverines? Right now, it looks like a mix of both.

The temperature will be right around 54 degrees for a high at the end of the game. The kickoff temperature will be close to 50, so the cold won’t be an issue. It won’t be windy either as the winds are supposed to be about 5-10 mph throughout the entire day.

What could be an issue is precipitation. It looks like the first half will be dry, but the second half has some question marks. There could be some rain that moves in after halftime. It’s still iffy on whether or not the rain will stay far enough south or push north to impact the game.

Not terrible weather, but not pristine either. Hopefully, the Ohio State football team can get a decent lead in the first half so that the weather doesn’t come close to causing any sort of problems in the second half of Saturday’s game. That’s the ideal scenario.
