Is the Ohio State football team or TTUN more likely to lose this weekend?

It’s just ten days until The Game. It’s a clash that will have major College Football Playoff implications. Both the Ohio State football team and TTUN have one more test to pass before that game comes around though. Both play winning teams that aren’t going to just roll over and die.
Ohio State takes on Maryland. As we told you before, the Terrapins have an offense that can give teams some problems. They can make explosive plays if they don’t turn the ball over. They also have scored the most points on TTUN so far this season.
TTUN takes on Illinois. The Illini just dropped out of the top 25 in the CFP rankings after losing to Purdue. In fact, they have lost their last two games. That doesn’t mean that they are a bad team though. They can still give Michigan some major problems on the ground.
TTUN is more likely to lose than the Ohio State football team this weekend.
Why? Because of Chase Brown. The Illinois running back has been tremendous all year and already has almost 1,500 rushing yards. They do what Michigan does well, which is run the ball and control the clock. If they get Brown going, they can limit Michigan’s possessions.
Maryland doesn’t have the same sort of luxury. They have to move the ball by throwing it a lot. Ohio State will get more possessions because of that. More possessions for a team like Ohio State means more points. The Terrapins don’t quite have the firepower to keep up.
Do I think either team loses this weekend? No, I don’t. I think both teams will win fairly comfortably and be able to face each other undefeated next weekend. That doesn’t mean that an upset can’t happen if one of these teams is looking ahead.
I think TTUN has a better chance to lose than the Buckeyes do if either team loses.
