The Ohio State football team is coming off a big win at Penn State which gave them their best win of the season so far. It wasn’t easy, but the Buckeyes were able to pull away in the fourth quarter and win the game. Now they take on a terrible Northwestern team.

Northwestern has only one win so far this season, and it wasn’t even in the country. They won their season-opener against Nebraska in Ireland by three points. That’s the only win they have to show for their efforts this season. It’s going to be a rough path to get one this week too.

Ohio State has some things they need to work on in the running game and in the secondary. Look for them to focus on those two things this week because this game shouldn’t be close. A lot of backups will likely get playing time in this one.

Ohio State football vs. Northwestern Odds Week 10

According to FanDuel, the Buckeyes are currently 37.5-point favorites. That’s a pretty high spread for a Big Ten game. I think it’s appropriate though. These two teams are very far apart in terms of talent. The Buckeyes might be the most talented team in the country.

The over/under for this game is set at 61.5, which is just a point lower than last week’s game was set at. That game easily went over. This total is likely set this low because Northwestern won’t score a ton of points in this game. I agree, but the over should still hit.

Ohio State football vs. Northwestern Prediction Week 10

This game is going to be a snooze-fest. Ohio State shouldn’t have any trouble at all beating this Wildcats team. The only question is how many points they can put up and how well they can run the ball. They have to fix the running game before TTUN comes to town.

I think the Buckeyes get it done 56-7 in a game that is never close at any point.
