Ohio State basketball: 3 things to learn about Buckeyes in exhibition game vs Chaminade
By Jacob Rhymer
What could the starting five be?
Tonight’s exhibition game will tell us who the starting five will be for this Ohio State basketball team to start the season. That has also been a question mark coming into the season with all the new faces on this team. What do we think the starting lineup will be in the exhibition game tonight?
I think the three captains, Sueing, Key, and Likekele, are a lock to start. That leaves two spots available in the starting rotation. Holtmann hinted at going with a three-guard lineup during their open practice a few weeks ago. My final guess is Sueing, Likekele, Key, Thornton, and Holden.
It’s tough to keep the third returning player, Eugene Brown III, out of the starting lineup. However, the lineup I think it will be is extremely versatile and they are all very good scorers. This group is also really solid defensively.
I’m excited for the Buckeyes to get back on the hardwood. They have really talented guards, elite wings, and a solid big man this year. The Buckeyes can be pretty good as long as their weapons are used the right way.
