Three recruits who were impressed with Ohio State football last weekend

Damon Wilson also loved what he saw from the Ohio State football team.

Jim Knowles really likes his edge guys in this new scheme he’s got the Buckeyes playing. He wants them to be able to do a lot of things and be adaptable. That’s exactly what Damon Wilson is, a five-star guy who was also at the Ohio State/Notre Dame game.

Wilson is the 6th-best edge guy in the country and is also from Florida. He was also taking in how the Buckeyes were playing defense in that first game. If the Buckeyes aren’t able to get Keeley or Uiagalelei, Wilson would be a fantastic consolation prize.

Right now, there is no official prediction for where Wilson will end up. This is yet another recruit that the Buckeyes are battling Alabama for though. If they can grab one or two of these guys away from Bama, it would really help their overall recruiting racking for this 2023 class.

Wilson would be someone who could play right away as a freshman. The combination of size and speed gives him a multitude of ways that Knowles could use him on defense. He would be a great asset to the Ohio State football program for the next three years.

These are just three guys from the 2023 class that were impressed. There were plenty of guys from the 2024 class who were taking a visit too. That’s just as important as some of these 2023 guys that were at the game. The Buckeyes won’t stop recruiting.
