Ohio State Football: Harry Miller to do powerful interview
By Ryan Stano
Former Ohio State football player Harry Miller has gone through a lot recently. As we know now, he had to retire from the game of football because of mental health issues that have plagued him in the last few years. He’s working on getting himself better and happier.
Miller went through one interview already, detailing what he went through. He’s hoping that him speaking out can help others speak out as well if they are struggling. Now, he is opening up a second time and doing another interview to further get his story out.
According to ESPN Front Row, Miller did an interview with ESPN that will be aired on the Sunday morning edition of Sportscenter in the 8 am hour. It will only be the second interview that Miller has done since he decided to step away from the Ohio State football team.
Miller won’t ever play football again, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be involved in the football program at Ohio State. Ryan Day made it very clear that he still wants Miller around if that’s what he chooses to do. He knows that his teammates love Miller unconditionally.
I’m sure we’ll see Miller on the sidelines of some games cheering on his teammates. How many games that is or what role he will play with the program at this point is still unclear. There are still a few months left in the offseason to figure all of that out.
It’s clearly important for Miller to get his story out so that he can help as many people as he can. Interviews like this are how he can do exactly that. I can’t wait to watch this interview on Sunday morning, and I’m sure other Ohio State football fans can’t wait to see it either.
