The Ohio State football team held its annual Pro Day for Buckeye prospects who are trying to impress NFL scouts. A lot of former Buckeyes elected to participate, including Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Haskell Garrett, Thayer Munford, Demario McCall, and more.

One of the quarterbacks throwing to some of these prospects in the Pro Day was Cardale Jones, former national champion for the Ohio State football program. The other quarterback is someone who is looking to add that accolade to his name this year, C.J. Stroud.

Stroud threw to the receivers who were likely to be taken, including Wilson, Olave, and McCall. While the scouts were there to look at the players who are ready to declare for this year’s draft, I’m sure plenty were impressed with what Stroud showed off as well.

Stroud had one particular throw that seemed to light up the room once it was caught by Wilson.

As you can see, Stroud’s arm only appears to have gotten stronger from a year ago. He seems ready to go for a season that has a lot of Ohio State football fans very anxious. It also will likely be Stroud’s last before he himself declares for the NFL Draft.

The Pro Day has been a success for a large amount of these Buckeyes hoping to realize their dreams of playing in the NFL. It also was a success for someone who will be sharing the field with them again in just a short amount of time. Stroud is headed for the first round next year.

I’m hoping we get to see a lot more bombs like this thrown to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Marvin Harrison Jr. this season.
