The Ohio State football team is close to finalizing its 2022 recruiting class. Most of the class signed in the early signing period, but there are still a few prospects out there that they are hunting. Those prospects will be signing tomorrow on National Signing Day.

When is National Signing Day for the Ohio State football program?

That would be tomorrow February first. It will be when most prospects sign their letters of intent that haven’t already done so from the early signing period. Of course, some prospects wait even longer like J.T. Tuimoloau did last year before choosing the Buckeyes.

How is early signing day different than National Signing Day?

At this point, most recruits sign during the early signing period now. It has overtaken the spectacle that National Signing Day used to have. Fundamentally though, nothing is different except the date on the calendar. It just gives prospects more time to think about where they want to go.

How can I watch National Signing Day?

As far as the Ohio State football program is concerned, you have a few options. ESPN 2 will be running a Signing Day special from 4-5 pm that will cover a national view of things. CBS Sports HQ will also have a live commitment from a prospect Ohio State is chasing at 9 am. I’ll be writing an article later today about all of the prospects Ohio State is still trying to nab.

Next. Tough choices to be made on defense for OSU. dark

Ohio State is hoping to get through the day without any surprises. I wouldn’t think that there would be, but you never know in this day and age. Hopefully, it should be a relatively uneventful National Signing Day in that regard.
