Former Ohio State football player Eli Apple had a nice game over the weekend. He made perhaps the biggest play in the game when he deflected a pass that ended up getting intercepted. That didn’t stop some fans of his former teams from coming at him.

Apple had some choice words for some of the fans who tweeted at him about his poor times with the Saints and the Giants. Very few of his tweets are safe for work, so here is one that is that he posted on Sunday while watching the other playoff game.

Apple had more than just that to say about fans of his past teams. If you want to see everything that he had to say, I suggest checking out his Twitter profile here. The former Buckeye seemed to just bring this up out of the blue for no reason also.

The former Ohio State football player had a really good day on Saturday. For some reason, he decided to bring up old wounds. It’s interesting that he did that considering he’s actually played fairly well for the Bengals so far. I wouldn’t bring up bad memories if I were him.

There’s no doubt that teams will continue to try to pick on Apple as the Bengals keep advancing in the playoffs. Patrick Mahomes will certainly keep his eye on Apple this weekend. Apple needs to be ready because this offense is going to be the most potent he’s seen.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see another outburst from Apple with his fans of his old team if the Bengals aren’t able to win this Sunday.
