While the Ohio State football team was playing their final game of the season in the Rose Bowl, there was more drama happening off the field. Marcus Williamson, who didn’t make the trip to Pasadena, had some interesting things to say on Twitter. We told you about that yesterday.

Since then, several former Ohio State football players have come out to denounce the accusations of racist activities by former coach Urban Meyer. A lot of prominent former Buckeyes too to Twitter to share their experiences with Meyer. Below are just a few tweets from former players.

These are just a few of the tweets from former players that have been sent in the last few days. Plenty of other Buckeyes, former and current, have come out to negate what Williamson said. It seems that the majority of football players don’t share his sentiments when it comes to Meyer.

Look, I wasn’t there. I don’t know what happened with Williamson because I wasn’t in the locker room. What I do know is that several other Buckeyes came out to say that Meyer never once acted racist at any time. I hate to think that a player would just say this because he didn’t play very much, but maybe that’s the case.

Next. Ohio State kept swinging in the Rose Bowl. dark

We should be talking about how the Ohio State football team had a great win to end the season. Instead, we’re talking about more things that happened off the field. Just another wrinkle to an odd 2021 season.
