Former Ohio State Football coach Urban Meyer kicked a former player

Former Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer has not had himself a good time in the NFL. He had the viral video go around, has had issues with winning games, and reports coming out of his locker room. It has been an unmitigated disaster. Somehow, it’s still getting worse.
According to a player who played for the Jaguars at the beginning of the season, Meyer actually made physical contact with him. According to former Jacksonville kicker Josh Lambo, Meyer kicked him and told him that he needs to start making his kicks.
"“I’m in a lunge position. Left leg forward, right leg back,” Lambo said. “… Urban Meyer, while I’m in that stretch position, comes up to me and says, ‘Hey Dips–t, make your f–king kicks!’ And kicks me in the leg.”"
I have no idea how Meyer thought this was a good idea to do. It’s bad enough to do that to any player, especially a college player. But a professional like Lambo certainly wasn’t going to put up with it, and didn’t.
"I said, ‘Don’t you ever f–king kick me again!’ And his response was, ‘I’m the head ball coach, I’ll kick you whenever the f–k I want.’”"
The fact that Meyer has this mentality is exactly why everything is falling apart in Jacksonville. he clearly doesn’t have the respect of the players in the locker room, and this is one of the reasons why. Actions like this can never be tolerated at any point.
Meyer’s power trip to say that he can do whatever he wants is what gets me. The fact that he truly thinks he can physically contact a player like that and do whatever he wants without repercussions is repulsive. This incident alone would be enough to get someone fired. Lambo was released after missing his first three kicks of the season.
I can’t say how happy I am that Meyer is no longer the coach of the Ohio State football team. They don’t have to deal with a clown doing something like this to one of the players on this team. I can’t help but think Meyer’s coaching career is over after this year.
