The Ohio State football will take on Purdue tomorrow afternoon. It’s a game that could be closer than some people think. It’s also a game that the Buckeyes have to win if they want to play in the College Football Playoff. They have no margin for error.

The weather is something that Ohio State has had to deal with a couple of times this season. The last couple of games it hasn’t been that bad. Will tomorrow be more of the same? Or will the weather be bad like it was in Bloomington three weeks ago?

As of right now, it doesn’t look like it. The only element the Buckeyes will have to navigate through is the cold and maybe some wind. The game-time temperature will be 42 degrees and it will be cloudy. Cold is something players get used to up here. The wind is another story,

It looks like it will be around a 14 mph wind when the game starts. It will only die down to about 10 mph by the end of the game, so the kicking game might be affected a bit. Throwing the ball shouldn’t be too tough in this wind though. It’s not blowing hard enough to affect that.

The temperature will fall to about 39 degrees by the time the game is over though. Wind chill will certainly be a factor though as it will fall into the lower 30’s. Fans who are going to the game need to be bundled up for this one, myself included.

It should still be another good Ohio State football game to watch. Hopefully, the Buckeyes walk out of the Shoe with a win.
