Ohio State Football: 3 keys to beating Nebraska
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team takes on Nebraska tomorrow afternoon. After playing two consecutive night games, they will play tomorrow’s game at noon in some great weather. It should be a really good afternoon to watch and play some football.
This is a game against a fairly desperate Nebraska team. They are only 3-6 this season and Scott Frost’s seat is getting mighty toasty. If he doesn’t get a signature win and turn things around at the end of this season, he could be out the door without a job.
Ohio State, on the other hand, is trying to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. They have to win out to give themselves any shot at making the final four. That starts by beating a desperate, bad football team in the Nebraska Cornhuskers tomorrow.
I have three keys that the Buckeyes need to focus on to make sure that a win does in fact take place for them. This game won’t be as easy as some people think because of how good Nebraska’s offense is, even though they did turn it over 4 times last week.
Ryan Day has been emphasizing to his team that focus is the most important thing from here on out. They have to focus on this game first before they can focus on Purdue next week. Then they have to focus on Purdue before facing the two juggernauts at the end of the year.
The first key to beating Nebraska has to deal with the defensive game plan.
