Ohio State Football vs. Nebraska: Weather report
By Ryan Stano
The last two times the Ohio State football team has taken the field, the weather has been a question mark. Two weeks ago in Bloomington, it wasn’t supposed to rain until the second half. It rained the entire game. Last week it was supposed to only rain in the first half. It didn’t rain at all.
What’s in store this week in Lincoln? Ohio State has shown the ability to play well in any kind of weather that occurs. So far, they have done a really good job not letting any outside factors affect them. The good news is this week it looks like it won’t be necessary.
As of now, the weather is supposed to be absolutely perfect tomorrow. At kickoff, which is at noon, it is supposed to be 60 degrees and mostly sunny, the wind is only 7 mph as well. By 3 pm, when the game is close to over, it will be up to 69 degrees and sunny.
The Buckeyes couldn’t ask for better weather. It’s the perfect weather for football. This is actually bad news for Nebraska. They could use any help they can get to try and slow down this Ohio State offense. They won’t be getting it from the weather.
Ryan Day should have his team focused and ready to go for this game. Now that they know where they sit in the CFP rankings, they know they can’t afford any slip-ups. They have to win out and possibly get some help along the way. Beating Nebraska is the first step in that.
The Ohio State football team shouldn’t have any issues winning this game by a wide margin. A little later today, we will share with you three keys to beating this team and walking out of Lincoln with a win.
