The next four years look to be just fine at punter for the Buckeyes.

This feels like a shout-out back to the Jim Tressel era. When a punter is one of the top players for a team would make you think that they were kicking all day, but really Jesse Mirco did the best with the opportunities he was given.

Mirco did a great job making sure that he took full advantage of his chances. Only took three kicks but two of them were downed at the one-yard line with the other coming out right around the 20. One of the best things he did was make sure that there were no returns on any of his three punts.

Against a fast team like Oregon, allowing the returner to make a play can come back to really hurt the offense. Instead, Mirco made sure that his kicks were put in a place that only Ohio State players could get to them and turn the field position battle.

The punter at Ohio State is not called upon very often, but when they are they need to make sure they help the team. Mirco showed great promise against Oregon that he will be able to step onto the field and help win the field position battle.

Now we move on to some losers, including a group that was supposed to be counted on for the entire season to perform.
