It was good to have normal football with a stadium full of fans

It was a weird year last year when football was able to happen but fans were not allowed in the majority of stadiums. Even if they were it was usually on a limited basis. One of the best parts of college football is seeing the pageantry, tradition, and energy of the fans (especially the student sections) in tandem with the teams and players playing the game.

No matter who you were rooting for Thursday night, or this weekend, it was good to see fans back in the stadium. You could see the Minnesota players feeding off the energy and excitement levels of the sold-out stadium. Even though this made life more difficult for the Ohio State offense throughout the evening, it is nice to have football back.

For most Ohio State fans, the excitement over having fans back in the stadium is going to hit harder next week when Columbus will play host. The Buckeyes are going to be able to really feed off the energy and fans will love being able to be back. Welcome back college football, and welcome back fans.

The fans will also help give the team a boost against a team that struggled in Week 1 and will be looking to show people that they are better than that team that played against Fresno State. The Buckeye crows will be needed to keep Ohio State rolling.

The next winner is the wide receiving corp.
