The former Super Bowl MVP gave the ultimate compliment to the Ohio State football program on Thursday.

The Ohio State football program has plenty of players representing the Buckeyes in the NFL. They are all over the place, scattered on many different teams. They have used that as a recruiting tactic, as well they should. Now, they can use another player’s words as a recruiting ploy.

Von Miller of the Denver Broncos gave the Buckeyes the ultimate compliment while speaking to the media on Thursday. Miller went to Texas A&M and still had to show love to Ohio State based on how ready they are to play in the NFL.

Even players from other schools have to come out and respect what the Ohio State football program has done. It’s great to see such a great player let everyone know that other NFL players are paying attention to these kids as soon as they get into the league.

Don’t expect that to slow down anytime soon either. More elite Buckeyes will be entering the NFL next season, including Chris Olave, Thayer Munford, and others. It’s going to be hard for NFL teams to stay away from these great Buckeye players.

Miller was likely speaking from personal experience as the Broncos have three former Buckeyes on their roster. They have rookies Baron Browning and Jonathon Cooper, as well as three-year veteran Dre’mont Jones. All of those players played big roles in their time with the Scarlet and Gray.
