Will Ryan Day and Ohio State actually lose a Big Ten game?

So far in the tenure of Ryan Day, Ohio State has not lost a regular-season game. Urban Meyer went through a similar streak to start his coaching career with the Buckeyes, before finally losing a regular-season game in his third year.

Now, that happened to be the year he also won the National Championship so Buckeye Nation quickly forgave him for dropping an early game. Now it wasn’t until his fourth year that the Buckeyes lost a regular-season game to a Big Ten opponent. Is there a chance Ryan Day stumbles this year?

It is only a matter of time before Ryan Day loses a regular-season game. While this is not the most challenging of schedules, there are a few games that possess the characteristics of being trap worthy along with some challenging games.

However, I think Ohio State is too talented without a difficult stretch on their schedule. Even with Oregon early and visiting Indiana followed by Penn State, the Buckeyes are too good. Usually, a trap game comes during a difficult stretch in the schedule, and Ohio State just doesn’t have that this year. For the third year in a row, Ryan Day is undefeated in the regular season.
