#3 Looks like a potential trap game could give Ohio State some trouble

After their matchup with the Oregon Ducks, Ohio State will be heavily favored to win a streak of games. The next dip in expected win percentage comes when Ohio State has another top ten opponent given slightly better odds to beat the Buckeyes in 2021.

This is a game I have had circled as a potential trap game for Ohio State, and a poor start could end up dooming the Buckeyes. Coming in at number three, the Indiana Hoosiers are listed as a top team to potentially beat Ohio State.

Now, to be fair to Ryan Day, when we say this team has the third-best odds of pulling off a win that still comes with Ohio State being favored 82.7% of the time. Not exactly a matchup that screams Ohio State will be falling. But playing against a talented Indiana team that seems to give the Buckeyes more fits than most when they play, Ohio State will need to enter this game with their utmost attention.

Having two weeks to prepare will be a big advantage, as long as the team does not get caught looking ahead to Penn State who they play immediately after the Hoosiers. Are they the next team on this list?
