Harry Miller started for the first time last season as a sophomore. He played guard but did have a game where he played center, which was his position in high school. You would have thought that he would have been good at center for the game the Buckeyes needed him there.

You’d be wrong. That game was a disaster. He had several errant snaps that took Justin Fields out of his rhythm. He even had a couple that just went straight over his head. That doesn’t exactly inspire a lot of confidence in someone the Buckeyes were hoping could take over at that position this year.

That wasn’t the only problem Miller had last year. He also was the most penalized offensive lineman that the Buckeyes had. He struggled mightily. Now, he has to fight for a spot on the offensive line to start. He has to prove that he deserves it.

Miller will need to have a strong start to Fall camp to keep that job. He is the most logical lineman to start at center. If he struggles though, his job could get taken by Dewand Jones or Matt Jones. Neither has experience at center, but they can’t be much worse than how Miller was last year.

A strong start to the season would take away any concerns that the Ohio State football coaching staff has about Miller. They need him to be strong too since there will be a new quarterback behind him.

The next person on this list is someone who is in danger of losing his starting spot if he doesn’t perform well.
