Wyatt Davis wasn’t just the best guard for the Ohio State football team, but also in the Big Ten Conference. He was a consensus All-American and it was the second year in a row that he had achieved First-Team All-American status. Davis had all of the accolades.

Davis also has all of the size you would want from a guard. He’s 6’4 and 315 pounds and uses his weight extremely well. Not only can he bully defensive tackles in the run game by pushing them backward, but he does pretty well in pass protection as well.

Despite all of this, Davis slid until the end of the third round. He was thought to be a first-round guy coming into the 2020 season. Despite still playing pretty well throughout the year, he slid until the 86th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. That’s where the Vikings snatched him up at.

Davis is a quality offensive line prospect that teams are going to wish they had on their team. He blocks with a mean streak and really does a good job finishing his blocks. There are several NFL teams that have issues with offensive linemen having the right mentality.

Davis is so good that he might end up starting day one for Minnesota. To grab a starting offensive lineman late in the third round is a steal. But Davis never should have fallen this far. He should have been a second-round pick for sure.

The final guy on our list was the only first-round pick the Buckeyes had in this Draft. Yet he wasn’t taken as early as he should’ve been.
