The Ohio State football team has been trying to add the defensive end to their already stellar recruiting class of 2021. It now looks like he is trying to take June visits.

IfJ.T. Tuimoloau is the last player that the Ohio State football team is trying to add for their 2021 class. He is also the last top recruit to make a decision regarding his future. It’s now mid-April and he has yet to sign with any school because he hasn’t been able to make visits.

While Ohio State was confident that they were going to land him earlier this year, that seems to have waned a bit. That’s only natural because he is waiting so long to make his decision. He really wants to take visits to schools that he hasn’t seen yet.

Ohio State is one of those schools, and it looks like he might be trying to visit in June. The NCAA won’t allow visits until at least the beginning of June because of the pandemic. But June seems a really long time to wait to make a decision on where to attend school.

Waiting until June puts you behind the eight-ball. Most teams have offseason conditioning programs that start soon after the beginning of June. Tuimoloau might have a problem getting on the field as a freshman no matter where he decides to attend.

Ohio State isn’t the only school vying for Tuimoloau’s services. Washington, Oregon, USC, and Alabama are also still in the mix. Of those schools, Alabama is the only place that he has been able to see in person. All of the Pac-12 schools are much closer to home for him as well.

At this point, if he doesn’t make a decision soon or if he isn’t allowed to take visits in June, he might just stay closer to home and choose Washington. Either that or he could pick Bama because he’s already seen the campus. Either scenario is bad for the Buckeyes.
