Ohio State football: Four-star tackle could choose OSU soon
By Ryan Stano
The best tackle in the state of Indiana is already forecasted to join the Ohio State football program in 2022, but he will be naming a definitive top five soon.
The Ohio State football program is trying to build monsters in the trenches. Both the offensive and defensive line are looking good in the class of 2022. The offensive line got a good sign yesterday with the second-best guard in the country had the Buckeyes in his top 10. Another offensive lineman could name OSU in his top five soon.
Kiyaunta Goodwin is a four-star tackle from Chestertown, Indiana. He is rated as the fifth-best tackle in the country and the best tackle in the state of Indiana. Having been originally from Indiana, I have heard a lot of good things about this kid.
Goodwin is huge, standing at 6’7 and 300 pounds. Even at that very large size, he is still able to move well laterally to get out and protect against pass rushers on outside moves. He also could still put on more weight in the form of muscle once he gets to college.
Goodwin is crystal balled to go to Ohio State as of now. He announced on Twitter a couple of days ago that he will be naming a definitive top five soon. The Buckeyes should definitely find themselves on that list. They keep on building that offensive line.
Ryan Day would be extremely happy to grab both Goodwin and Greene from this class. They also are still in on five-star tackle Zach Rice too. That would be a heck of an offensive line class to bring in. Ohio State is trying to get to Alabama’s level of physicality up front.
We will keep our eyes out for any movement from Goodwin and when he does ultimately drop his top five.
