Between the talent that the Ohio State football team has, how bad TTUN is, and how motivated Ryan Day is to beat them, this could be the biggest bloodbath in the history of the rivalry.

The Ohio State football team is clearly the best team in the Big Ten. They have been all year and they solidified that fact after the beat Indiana. Not only are they the most talented team in the Big Ten, but TTUN might be the least talented team in the Big Ten. This sets up The Game to be a bloodbath.

The Buckeyes are still dealing with some COVID issues that will keep six starters off the field this week. The offensive line is the biggest concern, especially center after all of the bad snaps against Michigan State. But even with all of those changes, it might not matter.

Ohio State has opened as a 30 point favorite for this game. It is the largest spread in the history of the rivalry. There is a good reason for that. Besides Ohio State’s dominance, TTUN has been futile all season long. They only have two wins and just lost to winless Penn State.

Add Day’s fiery comments that he made before the season, and this sets up to be an incredible blowout. We know that the Buckeyes practice all year long for TTUN. They keep some stuff up their sleeve for just that game every single year. Some of their best plays are broken out for that game.

Day would also be back to coach in that game after missing last week due to COVID. Justin Fields has been incredible all year long. The defensive line is becoming dominant. The only thing that might save TTUN is if they cancel the game due to COVID. That is still a real possibility.

Until we hear news of that, we are going to treat this as rivalry week. Expect a lot of anti-TTUN posts this week.
