Ohio State football: 3 best 2021 recruits left on the board
By Ryan Stano
3. Tunmise Adeleye
Tunmise Adeleye is a defensive end from Katy, Texas. He is a four-star guy who the Buckeyes had on their radar early. He is rated as the 32nd best player in the country and the 5th best defensive end in the country. You know how much Ohio State loves defensive ends.
Adeleye is a strong, physical guy who can get to the quarterback consistently. He already uses his hands well, and that is something that Defensive Line coach Larry Johnson always improves on with any defensive end that he is able to get his hands on.
Adeleye really uses the bull rush well and has impressive strength. Based on the film I’ve seen of him, he can be a great guy to coach. He is someone who already has a solid foundation but just needs to be coached up to become a truly elite-level pass rusher.
Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, Adeleye is someone who they had at one point. Adeleye de-committed from Ohio State back in August and is now likely to end up in the SEC. The reason I include him on this list is because he committed once before, so maybe the Buckeyes can sell him once again.
To be honest, that’s just wishful thinking from me. This kid is probably not going to sign with the Buckeyes. But his next kid is forecasted to and would be another great get for Brian Hartline.
