2. Emeka Egbuka

Emeka Egbuka is another stud wide receiver that Brian Hartline might be able to grab. Egbuka is out of Steilacoom, Washington. He is a five-star kid that is rated as the best receiver in the country and the second-best player out of the state of Washington.

Egbuka is 6’1 190 pounds. He has a similar build to Garrett Wilson, and that is someone who he reminds me a lot of. Egbuka can grab everything in sight and has stellar hands. He is also very quick off the line of scrimmage and can get separation almost instantly.

Right now, he is crystal balled to go to Ohio State. If he does end up coming to Columbus, it would be yet another top receiver recruit that Ryan Day and Hartline were able to snag. It would make the receiver room absurdly crowded and absurdly talented.

A team cannot have too much talent at the wide receiver position. The Buckeyes continue to identify talent and develop relationships with these kids early on. Egbuka would just be the latest in a long line of receivers that have first-round draft pick potential.

It looks like Egbuka would likely commit next month. We could find out soon enough whether or not Hartline is able to grab another stud wide receiver. The last recruit the Buckeyes are after is actually the number one player in the state of Washington and also is projected to land in Columbus.
