Based on recent developments in the recruiting world and certain crystal ball predictions, Ohio State’s 2022 class could shake out to be an all-time great class.

Ryan Day has been on a mission since he got to Columbus Ohio. At first, it was to just turn the offense into the best offense he possibly could. He’s done well in that endeavor. Now that he’s a head coach, he’s trying to turn the entire team into a juggernaut.

To do that, you need elite players. Ohio State has recruited some of the best players in the country. Last year’s recruiting class, which was Day’s first full class, was ranked 5th in the country. The class of 2021 is currently ranked second and might jump up to first.

What’s crazy is that his 2022 class could be even better. Twitter was in a frenzy last night about certain prospects. Now even bigger things have happened, as the number one quarterback prospect for the class of 2022 has de-committed from Texas.

Quinn Ewers is a five-star quarterback that is now projected to end up at Ohio State. He’s not the only elite prospect who has been crystal balled to the Buckeyes over the last couple of days. Five-star corner Domani Jackson and five-star receiver Caleb Burton have been crystal balled to Ohio State too. In fact, Jackson seems to have updated his Intagram bio

Will Johnson, another five-star corner, was part of the Twitter frenzy last night as well. It seems that Ryan Day has done something to get these kids excited and wanting to play for the Buckeyes. If all of these kids did in fact end up in Columbus, that would be a coup.

dark. Next. Not having fans at PSU is a bummer

Day has done incredible things on and off the field so far. If he continues to win games and wins a national title this year, things will only get better for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
