Ohio State football: Ryan Day is itching to let his team play
By Ryan Stano
With just under two weeks to go before Ohio State returns to the football field, Coach Day is ready to have his team out there.
As a fan, I can’t wait for Ohio State to play football again. It has been too long since I felt the joy of a Buckeye win. I’m sure most fans, like me, have only had the pain of the Clemson loss stinging their brain. But the wait is finally almost over for vindication.
Ryan Day also can’t wait to get this thing going. He fought hard for his team’s ability to play football at all this Fall. Now he’s ready to face off against Nebraska. Here’s what Day had to say about not being able to play football over the past few weeks.
Day is all of us when it comes to wanting to get the season going. The players are also itching to get out there and play. Everyone wants to see how far this team can go. It looks like the only thing that can stop this team from winning it all is COVID.
Based on how badly the Buckeyes beat Nebraska last season, the Cornhuskers will be looking for some revenge. This Ohio State team is hungry for revenge too after the way they finished last season, so I expect them to pulverize them with ease.
Day will be put to the test this season in his coaching skills in this age of COVID. It’s good to see just how excited he is to get his team out there and competing again.
