#1: Ezekiel Elliott

The final player on the list is Ezekiel Elliott. Since he has entered the league, Zeke has made a name for himself in the NFL along within the fantasy football world.

He has been as close to a sure thing you can get in the fantasy world. He has only been under 1,000 rushing yards in one season in which he only played 10 games but still had 983 yards.

While he does not hold quite the dual threat of being quite the receiving back of other players in contention for the top pick in a draft like Christian McCaffery, Zeke will still be one of the top players selected in your draft. Despite this, Zeke is no slouch when it comes to catching passes.

Zeke is one of the premier backs in the league and is guaranteed to be a workhorse for the Cowboys, especially if Dak Prescott does not reach a contract agreement with the team and Andy Dalton is forced to play at quarterback.

Currently, Matthew Berry has Elliott ranked as the 3rd overall running back and all of ESPN’s analysts have him ranked as the third overall pick. All besides Matt Bowen who has him ranked as the second overall pick and running back.

Depending on where you choose in the draft it is possible that Elliott will not be available by the time you select. However, if you are blessed with a top three or four pick the only player I would select in front of Zeke is Christian Mcaferty and maybe Saquon Barkley.
