No. 2 Ted Ginn Jr. | Class of 2004

Ted Ginn Jr. is the highest-rated since 2000 in Ohio high school football history. He comes in at the No. 2 Ohio State football recruit as well.

Ginn Jr. hails from football factory Glenville High School in Cleveland. A school that has produced the likes of Troy Smith, Marshon Lattimore and Cardale Jones as well.

With his electric speed and athleticism, he was one of the most exciting prospects to ever come to Ohio State back in 2004, and he turned out to be one of the best Ohio State receivers of all-time.

The combination of eventual Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith and Ginn Jr. was one that has not since been rivaled in Columbus. The Buckeyes made it all the way to the national championship game in 2006 behind these two stars, but came up short in the title game.

It was a game where Ginn Jr. proved to the country just how electric he could be, taking the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. Unfortunately, he was injured on the play and it would be his last ever play in a Buckeye uniform as he left Ohio State early to enter the 2007 NFL draft.

He would be chosen with the No. 9 pick by the Miami Dolphins and has enjoyed a long 14-year career with multiple teams thus far. Currently, the veteran resides on the New Orleans Saints squad.

From the multiple kickoff and punt returns both at Ohio State and in the NFL with his track like speed, Ginn Jr. has proven over and over again why he was so highly touted coming out of high school.
