Ohio State Football: 5 Buckeyes will play in Michigan or for Harbaugh
Apparently those in Detroit’s front office and Jim Harbaugh’s brother have been watching the Ohio State football team dominate The Game recently.
There were 10 Ohio State football players chosen in this year’s NFL Draft and five are beginning their professional careers for one of two teams. The Detroit Lions chose three Buckeyes and the Baltimore Ravens took two.
Wow, these five are going to either play in that state up north or for Jim Harbaugh’s brother John. Oh well, at least they will get paid to do so.
Let’s look at Detroit’s three picks.
Jeff Okudah: The Lions certainly made the right move with the third pick of the draft. When you have a chance to get a lockdown corner, which most expect Okudah to be, you just take him.
Jonah Jackson: Another great pick in the third round. Jackson was an anchor in the middle of the Ohio State offensive line last season. The offensive guard has the potential to be a fine player for a decade.
Jashon Cornell: I love this seventh round pick. Cornell was a versatile defensive lineman for Larry Johnson who was effective at the three technique tackle spot or as a strong side defensive end.

I hate these next two picks by the Ravens, I’m a Browns fan.
J.K. Dobbins: I can’t believe the RB slid to the No. 55 pick and Baltimore got a steal at that spot. I can see Lamar Jackson and J.K. tearing up defenses with the zone read.
The next pick tore me up.
Malik Harrison: Cleveland had the No. 97 pick and chose a linebacker. Harrison was chosen next and I think the Buckeye linebacker has the chance to be an excellent player in the NFL for years. The Browns could have had him but now will play against him twice a year.
There you have it, the five Ohio State players who are heading to that state up north or to Baltimore to begin their pro careers. I’m pretty certain those in Detroit’s front office and Jim Harbaugh’s brother John have been watching The Game lately and were impressed with players wearing Scarlet and Gray.
