Ohio State Football: 2021 recruiting class is getting absurd
Ryan Day and Brian Hartline struck gold with these two high school teammates who already form a dynamic duo..
- Kyle McCord: No. 3 Pro style QB, (22)
- Marvin Harrison Jr.: No. 8 WR, 56
Isn’t it an exciting prospect to see a five-star quarterback throwing the ball to the son of an NFL Hall of Famer when they played together before they put on the Scarlet and Gray? Then add this wide receiver to the mix and it may be a terrific trio.
- Jayden Ballard: No. 12 WR, (70)
Think McCord isn’t drooling at the thought of throwing the football to Ballard and Harrison, both top 100 receivers?
Coach Day and Tony Alford may have missed on highly running backs during the last recruiting cycle but not in this one. Check out these two.
- TreyVeyon Henderson: No. 2 RB, (17)
- Evan Pryor: No. 5, (83)
Just think if Ezekiel Elliott, No. 5 RB (69) and J.K. Dobbins, No. 2 (46) were in the same class. It would have been fun to watch those two on the same team so I’m looking forward to see Henderson and Pryor play together.

Now for the duo who will open holes for them.
- Donovan Jackson: No. 1 OG, (35)
- Ben Christman: No. 15 OT, (108)
Coach Greg Studrawa keeps loading up the offensive line doesn’t he?
Rounding out the offense is a tight end from Colorado.
- Sam Hart: 16 TE, (393)
Nobody can spot an undervalued player better than offensive coordinator / tight ends coach Kevin Wilson so I’ll bet Hart should be ranked much higher.
There you have it, a breakdown of the 2021 Ohio State recruiting class as it stands now, Expect things to get even more absurd down the road.
