No. 1 Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas’s last two years at Ohio State were ones to remember, but he got off to a slow start.  He played a bit in 2012 but had to sit out in 2013 due to him being redshirted.

Thomas starred his last two seasons. During those two years, he had 1,580 reception yards and scored 18 touchdowns. However, he was still underrated entering the 2016 draft.

Teams such as the Browns passed on him for different receivers like Baylor’s Corey Coleman who is now with the New York Giants. Thomas fell to the second round and the New Orleans Saints drafted him with the 47th pick.

Thomas has made teams regret passing on him as he is paired with one of the best quarterbacks in Drew Brees, and they have become a dynamic duo in the NFL.

During his four years in the NFL, Thomas has been named to the Pro Bowl three times (2017-2019) NFL Offensive Player of the Year (2019) and has the most single-season receptions (149).

With Brees coming back to play for the Saints in 2020, that means Thomas is going to have another outstanding season.  As of now, he has 470 receptions, 5,512 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns during his NFL career.
