The Ohio State football team regularly pump out excellent NFL talent. Here are three under the radar player who could have great NFL careers.

There is no shortage of talent from the Ohio State football team every time the NFL Draft rolls around. This season, there could be up to three Buckeyes selected in the first round. However, it is often players that fall under the radar who have excellent careers from former Ohio State players.

Players such as Vonn Bell, John Simon, Curtis Samuel, and of course Michael Thomas who are all quietly (in Thomas’s case not so quietly) putting up excellent NFL careers. Who are three Buckeye players who could do the same in this draft class?

No. 1: Malik Harrison, linebacker

Malik Harrison is a former three-star recruit who found a way to overcome the odds and start for a National Championship contending team in 2019. Harrison possesses excellent sideline to sideline speed and also has shown the ability to rush the passer.

With 75 total tackles, 3.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for a loss last season, Harrison has shown NFL scouts the ability to make game changing type plays every time he steps on the field. Projected to go anywhere from the second to fourth rounds of the upcoming draft, I look forward to seeing Harrison have an excellent career in the NFL.

No. 2: Jordan Fuller, safety

While the measurables aren’t exactly what NFL evaluators want to see, Jordan Fuller’s play on the field warrants consideration from teams when it’s time to draft in the middle rounds. Fuller had a ton of responsibility for this Buckeye defense last season playing the lone safety position on the field. Needing to play centerfield and cover the deep ball. Buckeye coaches showed a lot of trust in his abilities.

Playing well in the secondary with two interceptions and 62 tackles, Fuller also showed the willingness to step up in the run game and make tackles for this defense. If Fuller can catch on with the right team that will allow him to play a true free safety type position, look for Fuller to have a long and productive career in the NFL.

No. 3: Binjimen Victor, wide receiver

Call me crazy but Bin Victor is a player who I can see having a much better pro career than a college career. His career stats in college however indicate how he can best be used in an NFL offense.

With 83 receptions for 1,340 yards and 18 touchdowns, Victor’s best tools are his frame and leaping abilities. He could be a great weapon for an NFL team in the red zone.

While his hands and route running abilities still need refined, Victor posses the natural size and intangibles that evaluators look for in skilled receivers. If Victor can latch on with a team that has an established quarterback and offense, I can see him have a very productive NFL career as a red zone target.
