LSU has the chance to close a storybook season with a fairytale ending tonight as they take on Clemson in practically their own backyard in the Superdome. Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow looks to add the final chapter to his rollercoaster collegiate career that began in Columbus.

He’ll have the state of Ohio and Buckeye Nation rooting for him especially in lieu of how the Fiesta Bowl ended. Buckeye fans still have bad blood with the officials and Clemson but that’s beside the point. Clemson enters the game riding a 29-game winning streak and can win their third championship in four seasons. That would place them in the ranks of the all time elite teams and dynasties.

Trevor Lawrence will need to be effective on the ground like he was against Ohio State for his team to keep pace with LSU. I originally thought the winner of the Fiesta Bowl would win the title, but then I saw how much better of a team Ohio State was than Clemson, but poor execution cost the Buckeyes the game.

Studying the game and it’s flows, led me to the conclusion of Joe Burrow and LSU handling business tonight. I think by double digits too. The weapons on the perimeter for LSU will be too much for Clemson as well as their defense which has been playing lights out as of late.

Coach Orgeron and Joe Burrow get the job done in NOLA.
