The Battle of the Tigers and Death Valley will decide the national champion for the 2019 college football season. Former Ohio State QB Joe Burrow and the LSU offense will face their toughest test of the season against the impressive Clemson defense.

Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne will look to get past the tough LSU defense.

Most people are riding on LSU and their home field advantage, but it has proven to be unwise to count out Dabo Swinney’s bunch. Clemson receivers Justyn Ross and Tee Higgins going up against LSU DBs Grant Delpit and Derek Stingley will be a key matchup to watch in this game.

In the preseason, I predicted Clemson would defeat Ohio State in the National Championship Game (close, one game early). I think Isaiah Simmons and Tanner Muse step up again for Clemson defensively, so I’ll stick with my preseason prediction and say Clemson by a touchdown.
