No. 5  JT Barrett

If you want to talk about a statistical leader in passing, then JT Barrett is the man to look at.  He might have gotten off to a slow start in 2014, but the man found his grove quickly.

Before the injury in the Michigan game he threw for 2,834 yards, 34 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.  Barrett regressed in 2015, but that was because of his being a backup to Cardale Jones for much of the season.

Barrett’s best season was in 2017 where he threw for 3,053 yards, 35 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.

He has the Ohio State record with 104 passing touchdowns and tied Kenny Guiton for the single-game touchdown record with six.

JT is eighth in career rushing with 3,263 yards and is tied with Ezekiel Elliott for fourth place, scoring 43 rushing touchdowns.  Finally, he is first in total offensive yardage with 12,697 yards.

Barrett signed a three year deal with the New Orlean Saints before being released on August 1st, 2019.  He then signed with the Seahawks before coming back to the Saints, only to be released again.
