David:  The Buckeyes have dominated all year long, but it finally feels like that the season is starting this week as the final stretch is here.

Penn State is easily the best team Ohio State has played all year and we’ll see if the Buckeyes can continue their dominance or possibly struggle against tough competition.

Quarterback Sean Clifford leads the Nittany Lions and he will be playing on the same field he won a high school football state championship on at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati. He has had a nice year so far as he has thrown for 2,450 yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions. He has also run for 374 yards and five touchdowns.

If Ohio State wants to win they’ll have to contain his ability to extend plays with his legs, but I don’t think it will be a problem. You know why? Because the best player in the country will be back on the field as defensive end Chase Young is done serving his two-game suspension.

Overall, Penn State scores 36.8 points per game behind the play of Clifford and wide receiver K.J. Hamler. This Ohio State defense – that only allows 9.8 points per game – will certainly have its hands full.

The Nittany Lions are also very good defensively as they are allowing 13.5 points per game behind guys like Micah Parsons who leads the team in tackles with 75.

I think the Buckeyes’ offense with Justin Fields, J.K. Dobbins, K.J. Hill, Chris Olave and company will be too much for them to slow down though. They just have too many weapons.

My prediction: Buckeyes win 34-17
