Ohio State Football: Week 13 predictions, Buckeyes vs. Nittany Lions
Peter: The Buckeyes (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten) will battle the Nittany Lions (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten) not only for a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game, but also to be the favorite to make the College Football Playoff out of the Big Ten.
With the return of Chase Young, the Silver Bullets will have to continue their defensive success against a high-powered Penn State offensive attack, led by Sean Clifford, K.J. Hamler and Journey Brown.
The Buckeyes’ offense, led by Justin Fields and J.K. Dobbins, will be tasked with trying to dissect a Nittany Lions’ defense, which has performed well in most games, but has given up big yardage to Minnesota (460 yards allowed) and Indiana (462) the last two weeks.
In the game itself Saturday, Penn State will likely hang tough in the first half, much like Wisconsin. However, unlike any other opponent, Penn State has an offense that can keep the game within reach late into the game.
Ohio State pulls out the victory and grabs a late touchdown to punch their ticket to Indy and move closer to a CFP berth.
