While the Buckeyes (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) have been the most dominant team in the Big Ten, the Scarlet Knights (2-7, 0-6) have arguably been the worst (looking at you, Northwestern). With an inept offense and a defense made of swiss cheese, anything less than a 40-point win for Ohio State would be quite the surprise.

Led by Justin Fields’ passing and J.K. Dobbins’ running, the Buckeyes should charge out to an early lead and never look back. Against a team that has fired their head coach and red-shirted their season-opening starting QB and RB, Ohio State should cruise to an easy victory.

The toughest thing to predict is just how many points the Buckeyes will score after they take out the starters for the second half. Chris Chugunov has proven to be an able back-up QB and Master Teague would start on most other college football teams.

While the offense runs over Rutgers, the Buckeyes defense — even without Chase Young — will hold the Scarlet Knights under 14.

Ohio State cruises into their (likely) Top 10 duel with Penn State at Ohio Stadium Nov. 23, with all the pieces in place for a marquee match-up.
