Jerome Baker | 8 Tackles, 1 FF, 1 Sack

This may come as a surprise to some, but the tanking Miami Dolphins have won their second game of the season, this time coming against the Colts. The speedy, do-it-all linebacker Jerome Baker has had a huge hand in both of the wins.

We saw his name on this list last week after the Dolphins got their first win of the season over the Jets, and once again we are seeing it this week. Baker totaled a team-leading eight tackles on the day, as well as a forced fumble, and a sack.

For the season Baker has 63 tackles, good for No. 37 in the NFL, and best on the Miami Dolphins. He’s also fantastic in pass coverage which is something that a lot of linebackers struggle with, and is incredibly useful for defenses that have to try an keep up with today’s high-powered NFL.

If you decide to watch a Dolphins game, which I don’t blame you if you choose not to, watch out for Baker on defense, he is all over the field using his speed to make tackles in space that so many linebackers can’t make. He’s definitely a player that I will enjoy watching throughout the entirety of his career.
