In case you needed a reminder, Michael Thomas is really good at football. Thomas and other former Ohio State football players continue to excel in the NFL.

It’s crazy to think that we have already made it through 10 weeks in the NFL, and are nearing the end of the season in college football. But that’s where we are, November, and as playoff races heat up, there were plenty of former Ohio State football players who showed their worth in Week 10 of the NFL season.

Michael Thomas | 13 catches, 152 yards

In just another day at the office for Michael Thomas, he caught 13-of-14 passes thrown his way despite a shocking loss to the now 2-7 Atlanta Falcons.

Thomas continued to catch anything and everything thrown his way and while he didn’t get into the endzone, he totaled over 100 yards receiving for the third week in a row, and the fifth time this season. This is by far Thomas’s best season that he has ever had in the NFL and he continues to prove that every single week.

Right now, the former Buckeye receiver leads the NFL in receptions and it’s not really close. Thomas has 86 receptions on the season, 18 more than DeAndre Hopkins who is in second. But not only does he lead the league in receptions, he also leads in receiving yards with 1,027 on the season. Thomas is currently the only receiver in NFL that has broken the 1,000-yard mark and has 103 more yards than Mike Evans who second in that category.

To say that any one receiver in the NFL is better than Thomas right now would be a grave misstatement. All you have to do is watch how much of the offense of the 7-2 Saints is centered around getting Thomas the ball. If there was ever a wide receiver that could win the MVP, it’s Thomas with the season that he is having this year.
