Parris Campbell | 5 receptions, 5 targets, 53 yards

This is actually the second time that Parris Campbell has found his name on this list, as he was able to get on it earlier in the year after scoring a touchdown against Tennessee. Unfortunately, though, it will probably be his last for this season as the rookie broke his hand during Saturday’s loss to the Steelers and will need surgery.

While we hope for a speedy recovery for the former Buckeye standout, we can still marvel at what he was able to do before the injury against the Steelers on Sunday. Campbell was targeted five times and caught all five passes for 53 yards. He wasn’t able to make it in the endzone like the earlier season contest, but he showed plenty of promise nonetheless.

When a player, especially a rookie, catches every pass thrown to him and averages more than 10 yards a catch, that is only going to build a bigger repertoire with whoever is throwing the ball to him.

While that momentum might be halted for now, the Colts organization won’t soon forget that going into next season.

With the retiring of Andrew Luck before the season, the Colts were in need of a player who can get yards after the catch, and can use his athleticism in space. Any Buckeye fan that watched Campbell play knows that’s exactly what he can bring to the table.

Hopefully, when Campbell makes his return next season they can get him even more involved in the pass offense with whoever is running the show at quarterback.
