Nick Bosa | 7 Tackles, 1 Sack, 3 TFL

In a game where the rain in Washington was absolutely relentless, the younger Bosa brother feasted on a struggling Redskins offense.

The rookie, and former second overall draft pick, totaled seven tackles, a sack and three tackles for loss in one of his more impressive performances this season. What might have been the highlight of the game against Washington was his slide across the wet surface after getting his lone sack of the day.

Bosa has proven all season to be worthy of the number two pick in the draft so far as he has terrorized defenses as a rookie. He has helped the 49ers to become one of the best defenses in the NFL this season, and they are currently one of two teams that hasn’t lost a game yet.

That can be mostly chalked up to this defense which has held teams to just under 11 points per game this season, second in the NFL only trailing the other undefeated team the New England Patriots. The 49ers are also third in the NFL in sacks per game, averaging just over three per contest.

Right now, Bosa is second on the team in that category trailing fellow defensive lineman Dee Ford by half a sack.

He has four sacks, 16 tackles and eight tackles for loss. Bosa is one of the favorites at the midpoint of the season to win Defensive Rookie of the Year. Expect him to continue eating up opposing offensive lines.

Now onto one of the three players in the Saints secondary.
