It was the Bosa brothers who shined the brightest for the Buckeyes in week 7 of the NFL. But they weren’t the former Ohio State football players who had a productive week.

Week 7 of the NFL season is over and that means there are plenty of former Buckeye performances that we need to go over. Here are some of the Buckeyes who performed the best last week.

Joey Bosa | 6 Tackles, 2 Sacks, 1 FF

Surprisingly this the first time that we see Joey Bosa make the list as the older Bosa brother has had somewhat of a down year so far.

Now take down the season as what you will but, Bosa has put up 35 tackles, five sacks and just six tackles for loss so far this season. Coming into this week, Bosa only had three sacks and under thirty tackles so the output he put up in a close loss to the Titans definitely helped his case statistically.

It also helps that the Titans have given up the most sacks in the NFL so far this season.

That being said, to say he doesn’t affect defenses even when he isn’t putting up stats is ludicrous. His size and strength is enough to give defenses a ton of trouble and that always opens up options for others on the line.

Now on to the other Bosa brother.
