No. 2:  Jeffrey Okudah’s second interception against Nebraska

Cornerback Jeffrey Okudah had a huge first quarter during Ohio State’s 48-7 win over Nebraska as he had two interceptions but his second interception was the big highlight play.

Nebraska was almost into the red zone with a little less than two minutes to play in the first quarter and down 14-0. Quarterback Adrian Martinez then threw a ball a little too high for his receiver so it was ultimately tipped and Okudah picked it off while lying on his back on the four-yard line.

Ohio State only allowed Nebraska to score seven total points that night and Okudah was a big reason that was the case.

No. 1:  J.K. Dobbins’ powerful run against Indiana

More from Ohio State Football

Ohio State opened up Big Ten play with a bang as they defeated Indiana 51-10 on the road and running back J.K. Dobbins was a big reason for that, running for 193 yards on 22 carries.

One of his biggest runs that day was on a 26-yard run into the end zone with 4:09 left in the second quarter.

Dobbins took the ball and stiff-armed multiple Hoosiers and then dragged two defenders about six yards into the end zone to make the score 30-3.

That run showed the nation that Dobbins is one of the top backs in the country and that the Buckeyes aren’t going anywhere in this College Football Playoff race.

Ohio State has had a plethora of big plays this season. They have dominated their competition, showing they are a true title contender. I think it’s only fitting that Dobbins – who has had a massive year with 826 yards on the ground already – gets the No. 1 play of the season so far.
