Michael Thomas | 11 Catches, 182 yards, 2 TDs

Leading up to this game you could have argued that this has been somewhat of a down season for Michael Thomas, and I would have agreed with you. That is no disrespect to how Thomas has performed but more respect for his first three seasons in the league.

More from Ohio State Football

That all changed this past Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Thomas had 11 catches for a massive 182 yards and two touchdowns. Crazily, Thomas only ranked No. 3 among all receivers, but it was a monster day nonetheless.

Teddy Bridgewater, taking over for Drew Brees after the future Hall of Famer went down with an injury, can probably be the blame as to why Thomas hasn’t been putting up the numbers through five games he had in previous seasons. But the duo of Bridgewater and Thomas seemed to come into its own in Week 5.

I’m excited to see where the two take it from here.
